Back from the U.S, Americana/Folk duo Minor Gold (Dan Parsons & Tracy McNeil) kick off their 19 date Australian album tour with a brand new video for their 5th single, ‘Tumbleweed’. It is the fourth track from their acclaimed debut album to be added to high rotation on Double J.

‘Tumbleweed’ smoulders with the duo’s trademark country-funk feel, their acoustic guitars recalling a groovier CSN&Y or a more buoyant JJ Cale. They make everything sound easy, from the way they mix elements of bluegrass, folk, country and West Coast soft rock to their sixth sense harmonies.

‘On a song such as Tumbleweed, the pair’s harmonies seem to exceed the sum of their parts,
a la the four-part vocal alchemy of classic CSN&Y’ – Phil Stafford, The Australian.

Capturing the free spirit of the open road (and sky), the video is a sun-dappled snapshot of the duo’s 3-month tour criss-crossing North America. With the vision as infectious as the music, the clip sweeps you up inviting you to ride shotgun.

From sold out shows with The Teskey Brothers in the U.S, charting on North American College Radio and debuting at #1 on the AIR chart & ARIA (Jazz & Blues) Chart, there’s no sign of slowing down for Parsons and McNeil. Barely over their jetlag, Minor Gold have jumped back in the van again to officially launch their album around Australia, don’t miss them on the following dates:
