Grab your cowboy boots and saddle up, Ridin’ Hearts Festival returns to Sydney and Melbourne this November! The boot-scootin’ ride of a lifetime will land in Sydney on Saturday 2 November and Melbourne on Sunday 3 November.
Making its debut in 2023, Ridin’ Hearts has captured the hearts of loyal country fans and the country-curious, serving up country charm in the city like never before. The one-of-a-kind daylong festival from the team that brings you CMC Rocks delivered an impressive line-up of country music stars to Sydney and Melbourne last year, headlined by US wunderkind Bailey Zimmerman.
With rave reviews from fans, industry and artists alike, the inaugural Ridin’ Hearts Festival snagged the hottest international and local artists to play across the day, in a bumper celebration that continued into the evening. Epic market stalls and a range of mouth-watering food and beverage outlets provided something to satisfy every craving. Plus a raging silent disco, giant cornhole game and Brixton hat branding station for that unique edge, all amplified by the undeniable energy that only country music can deliver.

The Countdown Is On – 2 Weeks To Ridin’ Hearts ’24
With only 2 weeks to go until Ridin’ Hearts Festival makes its anticipated return to Sydney and Melbourne, the annual music event reveals a raft of new on-ground experiences and activations to knock the boots off any country music lover.
Landing at Sydney Showground on Saturday 2 November and Melbourne’s Caribbean Gardens on Sunday 3 November, Ridin’ Hearts dials up the southern charm in 2024, with festival favourites from 2023 along with a slew of brand-new delicacies to sink your teeth into.
Line Dancing makes a hotly anticipated debut in 2024, as Cowboy Disco groovers Country Club host line dancing sessions throughout the day in Sydney and Melbourne. Festivalgoers can prepare to kick up their heels, as they’re guided through two-step routines choreographed to the hottest country hits.
The new Lone Spur Tent, home of Line Dancing, will also host the Silent Disco featuring a playlist of the best new country tunes on offer plus all the classics, curated by Filtr’s Trending Country Playlist. The just-announced winner of Ridin’ Hearts’ Ridin’ Starts emerging talent initiative – Michael Honan – will make his festival debut in the Lone Spur Tent at 3:20pm. Michael impressed with his deep gritty vocal, and is sure to leave a swag of new fans in his wake!
Introducing 2024’s hottest new drinking hole, the Bulldust Bar! For anyone that fancies a taste of the signature Ride ‘Em Gambler cocktail and a game of corn hole in between sets from Cooper Alan, MacKenzie Porter and more, Bulldust has you covered.
No festival is complete without amazing food, and Ridin’ Hearts is well and truly delivering this November. In true country style, some of the best BBQ around will be available on site, with burgers, brisket and more to satisfy every craving. Ridin’ Starts Is On The Hunt For The Next Country Star
Calling all emerging country music talent across Australia! Ridin’ Hearts is on the hunt for some of the country’s most promising undiscovered artists, ready to make their mark on the music industry.
Introducing Ridin’ Starts, an artist-first initiative designed to support local talent by opening doors and connecting them with some of the country’s most influential music experts, providing invaluable insights, advice and knowledge, along with a host of money-can’t-buy experiences.
Ridin’ Starts aims to prepare the future stars of Australian country music with all the knowledge and the tools to succeed in one of the fasting-growing genres in the world.
With an incredible prize package on offer, one lucky emerging star will win a 20-minute set on the Lone Spur Tent at Ridin’ Hearts 2024, one-on-one meetings with industry leaders like Michael Chugg (Chugg Entertainment & Chugg Music), artist Casey Barnes, songwriter Lindsay Rimes, Natalie Waller (ABC Music) and more, design a custom merch piece with Love Police and walk away with professional press shots, a content package capturing their festival experience and a tour pass to see some of the biggest names in country music live. Plus travel and accommodation provided thanks to APRA AMCOS!
To enter, artists will need to upload a video of themselves performing an original song to Facebook or Instagram, tag Ridin’ Hearts Festival, then visit the Competition Page at ridinhearts.com and complete all details in the entry form.
Entries are now open and close Friday 11 October at 5:00pm AEDT. Five finalists will be chosen and announced via the Ridin’ Hearts and Frontier Touring social media pages before the winner is announced following a selection process held by an expert panel of judges.
